UPDATE: WALGREENS - $5 RR WITH $25 PURCHASE

This is an update to my previous post here regarding the $5 Bonus RR for 12/9-12/12.

It has been rumored that the $5 RR with $25 Purchase is BEFORE any other coupons, which is usually not the case at Walgreens. Here is a new deal scenario for you:

Purchase each of the following FREE AFTER RR Deals to equal $25.96 before tax:

Use $2.00 Q from December All You Magazine (still available at Walmart if you don't have a copy)
Pay $2.99, but then get $4.99 back in RR

This is just one scenario...look through all the deals and see what works best for you. Just make sure your "before coupon" total is $25.

If you have no Register rewards, this is a great opportunity for you to build your stash. From this point on, you should be able to always pay for each transaction with previously earned RR, as long as they are not being used on the same product you earned them from, which is called rolling...Walgreens doesn't usually allow that.
